The other day Jaz and I went to Whole Foods to buy 3 specific food items for our Whole30 food challenge. In and out, simple. Forty minutes later, somehow we left the store with a basket full of Good Soap, among other things.
Good Soap is produced by a company called Alaffia which focuses on African economic equality and empowerment. Alaffia was created to help West African communities become sustainable through the fair trade of indigenous resources.
We love to support good causes that support local communities across the globe.
Also, did we mention that they bars of soap were on sale for $1.00? Combine the price tag with the fact that these bars of soap smell and feel really great, the purchase was a win-win! Jaz is usually the body products connoisseur, but I must admit that I found myself very excited about this spontaneous purchase.
We bought 20 of those bad boys.
