It’s the mooost wonderful tiiiime of the yeaaaar! If you’re like us and you love holiday cards, you may have already given them a little bit of thought! I think Christmas cards are a wonderful way to send season’s greetings and hopefully spread a little bit of holiday cheer with your friends and families. I’ve always loved stationery and my mom instilled in me the importance of handwritten notes at a young age. During our wedding planning process, I developed a slight obsession with paper goods, so the winter holidays are just another excuse for a project for me!

Last year, our Christmas cards were super last minute! We were going to have a friend take our photos, but ended up just doing them ourselves. We wanted the Christmas card to also serve as a “We Moved” notice and share our new address, so we decided to take pictures in front of our new home! We parked our car in front of our house and set the camera - with a self time - atop it and snapped away. This year we considered doing a mini photo session with a local professional photographer but decided to do something a little different! I can’t wait to get them and share them with our loved ones. Here are some great places to shop around for holiday cards:

If you’re a talented graphic designer (I am not) you can design your own cards and save a lot! Last year we ordered ours from Minted, which I loved because they offer super high quality products and have free recipient addressing - a HUGE time saver! If you’re looking for photo ideas, Pinterest has a lot of great holiday card inspo! They’re a great way to let people know you’re thinking about them during the holiday season, and update people you may not talk to as often about how your year went.

Where do you order your holiday cards from? Happy holidays!
