We both love Thai food, so we knew that we wanted to take a cooking class while we were in Thailand. There are lots of different places that offer classes, and we eventually decided on Pum Thai Cooking School based on the reviews. After a long day exploring Maya Bay (excuse the hair!), we headed back to town for the Pum's Little Lipstick cooking class. It took us a little while to find, and we were a bit late, but we eventually made our way to the cooking school. We learned about the different ingredients that are often found in Thai food from Pum herself, and then moved over to the small, crowded kitchen to do the cooking. It was like a steam room - incredibly hot inside. We had to step out a few times to get some air. The food was incredible and tasted so authentic! We picked up some different Thai sauces to use at home at the end of the trip, and everyone received a free cookbook with the recipes we made, which was awesome. All in all, it was a great experience and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to learn how to make authentic Thai.
